Not sure why, but it reminded me of when I was a small child, and the liners were made of wax, not plastic. We used to take them to the park to grease the slides on the playground! (worked great, btw.)
How about you? Do you miss any little thing(s) like that from your childhood?

sticker books. ha! i miss finding pleasure in something so simple as a shiny, star wars sticker...or some other figure. i miss playing with leggos. i miss shooting hoops using a balled up sock and a bent wire hanger attached to the closet door. i miss playing sonic the hedgehog while listening to rush. i miss living with my family, though we did not always get along. i miss my parents being young. i miss riding bikes with the neighbor kid. i miss not having to work...not even understanding what it was to not have to work. i miss the feeling that when i grow up i'm going to do whatever i want whenever i want...not understanding that it doesn't work that way. family vacations. i miss family vacations to silver lake and cedar point. i miss holidays. nothing is the same now that my siblings and i are adults.
and a million other things.
and, twenty years from now, i will miss things from this time in my life, along with those things already having gone by.
