I don't really like dawn, but there's something rather nice about watching the sun disappear over the horizon.

Neither, really. Where I live, you see the sun rise... over some houses and you see it set... over some houses. There's not really any scenery to go with it so it's not really that interesting. I really like the dark sky at night, though. :] And the sky at daytime, if it's overcast.

Sunsets tend to be prettier, in my experience, but there's something that's just really fresh and happy about dawn. I'm hardly ever awake for it, though, and it's the kind of thing I only enjoy if I'm lazing around in bed, rather than, you know, frantically trying to get out the door.

Sunrise. Sunset is the end of a day and always makes me a little sad.

I have to deal with an entire day's worth of stuff after a sunrise. I prefer a sunset because it's a nice start to a relaxing evening.
