I don't read in the bathroom never had maybe in the future when old age and slower bowel movements kick in but not for now...although I'm reading a book I want to use as toilet paper right now, does that count?

I keep nonfiction in the bathroom, to take small bites out of. I keep fiction next to my bed.

I used to read in the bathroom, but I haven't done it in years. My wife still occasionally reads in the bathroom, but no where near as much as she used to.

Ha! If the book is that bad, I feel no shame in putting it down for good (Moby Dick had to be abandoned). I did finish the Stieg Larson series (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.). If I was going to have started reading in the bathroom it would have been those books. They were so good I could hardly put them down.

I voted yes and other. Yes, I take magazines, or books or my phone in there ( i have kindle on my blackberry)....
Other because sometimes I take my laptop in there.. Im lactose intolerant, so if i had dairy, i know i may be a min. So I need something to occupy me LOL

Magazines are better. If I take a book I am likely to be in there forever trying to get to the next chapter or something LOL.

Yup! Love reading, and if I'm there for a while I get bored I have a book with one or two page stories, which works really well, since I don't get really into them and end up staying in the bathroom all day.

Depends on how long I think I may be in there. I'll usually grab the shampoo bottle off the side of the tub and read the ingredients, even if I've read them a million times before.

Yes and no. If I know I am going to be in there a bit or really want to finish a chapter I will take my book in with me. I am also know to take a book in with me to pee and then sit on the edge of the tube when done to get away from the kids for a few extra minutes and read lol

I have never been into paper reading but sometimes I find something on my laptop and I run in there with it. Sounds like TMI but it was asked lol

HELL NO!
To me, no matter how often you clean the bathroom - I will always see it as a germy place. I want to spend as little time as possible there.
I don't go to toilet, unless I actually need to go. And it doesn't take me that long to dump (either loads) and get out!

I'd much rather read on my bed in comfort and style!

My mom told me the same thing! I really would stay in their for nearly an hour to read just so I could finish a section without my siblings bothering me. Today, if I'm reading in the bathroom, it's because I'm taking a long bubble bath.
