Do you reread some of the same books over and over?

I've got my favorites that I seem to read and reread over and over. Do you do the same? What are some of your favorites?

Yeah when I have time. Kite Runner is one of my faves.

I do it all the time, I love re-reading. I think I am working my way through the Anita Blake series maybe the 5th time?

I haven't re-read any books, but I have many favorite stories on Literotica that I've read many times.

Some of them, especially when I want to read something with a specific theme

I do a lot. The ones I've probably read the most are Dune, The Stand and The Shining, as well as Lovecraft collections. Occasionally I get on a mystery kick and read all of the Nero Wolfe and Perry Mason books over

I do. Rereading The Hobbit for the movie.
I usually reread series before the new book is released.

Yes, I do this with books by some of my favorites such as Elizabeth Wurtzel, The Last Vampire series by Christopher Pike & Stephen King (specifically his short stories). I also have favorite Christmas books. Right now I'm rereading all of my Anne Rice books.

P.S. jr2012, I also love the Anita Blake books.

I reread some series that I liked when I was younger because some of the details get lost as I read other books.

From elementary school through high school I read and reread all of the Harry Potter books. I think I've read the Prisoner of Azkaban a dozen times. Whenever I'd get sick I'd spend the day on the couch and read one of them. I have a couple of books that I found in high school that had an impact on me that I've reread.

I want to go back and read some good ones that I've only read once - usually I get something different (or notice something new) from a book each time I read it.

I reread Atlas Shrugged every year, and I like to go back through a few classics when I need a jolt of good writing energy.

There are a few books that I read every year no matter what. About 5 of them. There are several others I read every other year or so. Top that off with the number of new books I read in a year as well and I keep my nose in a book most of the time.

I don't. Unless it's some how-to that I might flip through for reference. I'm the same way with movies (even my most favorite ones). I already know what happens...I like being surprised and if I already know what happens, then I'm rather bored. Unless it's something that I haven't read/seen in a very long time (or something I really didn't pay attention to the first time).
