Do you think some older fashions were way more appealing than what we wear nowadays?

Absolutely. There's a reason historical re-enactors and steampunk dudes get us girls swooning ... a properly tied cravat and nicely-cut waistcoat are turn-ons.

I like most historical cuts and style because they were designed around my type of figure, so I do end up naturally looking better in them than I do in today's styles.

I don't find this very attractive--and it doesn't look really comfortable, either.

Oh, maybe we're talking 1700s?

I like my men in pantyhose and fluffy wigs, personally, but I don't think a lot of men today would be jumping into that.

I mean, every region had its own fashion in its own era, and not all of them were appealing.

I'm going to say yes and no. Some of them were far more attractive, but a lot of them weren't, and were very hard to wear for long term clothing.

"females were always gorgeous" I wouldn't say they were any more gorgeous than modern women, especially if you take your samples from women with different income from many eras rather than just royalty/the obscenely wealthy.

I do like a lot of older fashion, but also lots of today's fashion! As with anything, there is some good and some bad in every time period.
