I have these dreams pretty much every single Night, so much, and I fly in them soooooo naturally, that I really wonder sometimes if I could really do that, knowing the technique damned well already in my dreams!

Well, I strongly believe in it that indeed, levitation is something you can learn, it is just the question of the proper willpower over your mind and body...

But do you think we would have to be yogis to do such a thing?

It's been proven that all demonstrations of levitation have been nothing more than really convincing parlor tricks.

That being said, I'm not above thinking that when we dream that it's kind of like The Matrix. An alternate reality...of course that can't be proven either but it's fun to think about sometimes.

In this world? On this plane? Humans flying and levitating isn't impossible so much as it is improbable.

^ My thoughts exactly. The only way we'll be able to fly - unless we evolve flaps of skin at some point - is with some sort of equipment.

The only way I'm gonna fly is if they shove me out of a plane and I haven't yet hit the ground. I don't think we're able to do it as we are now. Who knows? They say we all evolved from a single cell--give me a couple more millennia and chat with me about all the cool shit I can do, then.

No, humans cannot fly without conveyances, like planes, helicopters etc.

It is a simply physiological impossibility.

People dream about a lot of things that are physically impossible.

No Yogi has ever been able to "levitate" in a controlled lab. They all then had excuses about how the place was non conducive to their.... whatever. The fact is, these things are tricks. People can't fly.

If they could, the invention of planes, trains, automobiles etc would have not ever been necessary.
