Does lube expire?

Cosmetics and body products are all labelled with a "shelf life" so to speak. I'd assume lube is too. Just look on the bottle, it'll say something like "12M" or "24M" for 12 months or 24 months.

Lubes are usually oil-based so they do expire. I would say within 12 months but it depends on the product itself. They usually have a marked date.

I agree with Lildummrgurl7 on this on but some of my lubes have actual expiration dates on them.

My sliquid products have expiration dates on them and it's in a little over a year from now. It's on the bottom of them. One of my lubes doesn't have one but I am going to assume that in about a year I should test and toss it or just email the company and ask them about it.

No matter what the lube is made of, I would assume it has an expiration date since a majority will contain some preservatives (and those only last for a certain amount of time).
