I am about to blow my diet to hell in a handbasket (no...not really, I WILL limit myself to ONE..or maybe TWO) doughnuts, as friends are meeting us this morning...at the KRISPY KREME (only place nearby open WAY early on a Saturday morning).

I love my CUSTARD FILLED CHOCOLATE but sometimes just want a PLAIN HOT GLAZED DOUGHNUT...but those are SO fluffy..there are there, then GONE, and you want more.

SO...what is YOUR favorite style of doughnut. Filled or plain??

Filled with jelly, custard, whatever else. As long as it is not like this link posted. I could not find doughnut story but not I have seen the video before. This is nasty story so be warned!

I don't really have a preference. I really only eat them once every few years. They are yummy though.

Wow! Think of how many times the guy got away with it because the consumer just didn't like the gross tasting yogurt. It took someone who knew the taste of semen to put the gross taste onto the guy pushing the yogurt.

I usually get chocolate covered donuts or else the boston white creme. I really love those but sometimes I like getting just the glazed donut holes.

HOT Original Glazed Krispy Kreme!
They've closed the location near me so I haven't been able to indulge lately. The boxed Krispy Kreme from the grocery store just does not cut it. Dunkin' Donuts which is nearly as ubiquitous as Starbucks around here, is third or fourth rate compared to Krispy Kreme.
But my REAL Favorite? Creme Horns but good ones are quite difficult to find. In fact I have yet to find a good creme horn here in the chicagoland area.

I grew up with Dunkin Donuts and always loved the Bavarian Kreme and the Boston Kreme. Sometimes I liked their Blueberry Cake donut as well.

I use to love donuts of all kinds - and had a special love for the Bavarian cream filled donuts. But these days I just can't handle the sweetness - so I'm pretty much a donuts free zone!

Alligator jaws from the local bakery!!! They are triangular have whipped creme stuff inside and powdered sugar on top. AMAZING!! Or glazed Krispy Kreme or just a maple bar.

I usually prefer the plain to filled, but sometimes I like apple filled or bavarian cream...or the one at Dunkin Donuts that's filled with icing, haha.

I am a sucker for a donut with white icing and sprinkles.
