I have always enjoyed driving and exploring new places. Lucky me, my husband really enjoys it as well. We were going to the fair one year (about 8 miles from home), and ended up in the next state! On purpose, after we decided there were too many people at the fair, (Duh?)
Do you enjoy road trips? Just driving somewhere for whatever reason.

My dad and I did this when I was younger (and sometimes now, but limiting it to our county). Dad would strap the extra motorcycle helmet on my head and get me on the back of his bike and I'd hang onto him, then we'd explore Kansas City, MO, and the surrounding counties. Very educational and always fun.
Any road trips now have specific goals - moving, annual family event, etc.

Now that we have 2 little kids, that kind of thing isn't easy anymore. But I would love to be able to do that again (and can't wait). Get in the car, not know where you're going to end up.

I love road trips. My best friendship (and roommateship, and everything else) in undergrad was practically founded on road trips. We'd randomly drive away for a weekend---to my state, to hers, to "where do you want to go for Thanksgiving? " "I don't know, where don't we know anyone?" "Winnipeg?" "Sounds great, hop in."
A road trip for me is usually one of the last stepping-stones to taking a relationship from casual to serious, too. If the guy is the right 'road trip' kind of companion, it usually bodes well for the whole relationship.

We do enjoy a good road trip, but we haven't been on one in a few years. We work too much to be able to just get in the car and go, but the few that we've planned have been fantastic. 26 hour drive to another state to get his show car was a lot packed into one weekend, but I got a fantastic cabinet out of it from an antique shop.

Antique stores, yard sales, etc. aren't they better away from home for some reason?

That's what I've noticed. I think it's because it's a pain to transport things from vacation to home sometimes.

I love to drive around. Sometimes I have a destination, other times not so much.
Admittedly, gas prices are a big deciding factor.

Totally, love exploring and seeing what is out there!

sometimes, but not around the city. Out in the country I can drive around and sight see nature.

I'd love to, I haven't had the opportunity to, though.

I love just driving around. I live in the country so there's tons of back roads to explore. Just when you think you've explored them all there's always a new one waiting to pop up and surprise you.
