I'm glad you put the pictures--over half of these have different names than they did when I was a girl scout. Samoas used to be Caramel Delights, and they're my favorite, but I do love the shortbread cookies with a hot cup of tea.

I think they're still technically called Caramel Delights... but to all us "old people" over 30(ish) they're Samoas.

Between me and my roommate there are 3 cases of cookies in the house. My favorites are thinmints and I like to make icecream sandwiches with samoas or trefoils.

We have girl guides up here (not girl scouts) and although they have cookies, they are not the same.
I have had a box of thin mints mailed to me under strict order to put them in the freezer and enjoy them that way and OH MAN they were yummy.

Meijer and Family Dollar sell the knock-offs of Samoa's, which rocks.
I'm not a fan of lemon or berry cookies, but that's me.
I think Eddy's ice cream has a couple of the flavors as ice cream flavors.

Yes, Thin Mints are BEST frozen. Yum. I need to see if there are any troops selling at the stores around here since none seem to go door to door anymore.

I love Thin Mints and Tagalongs would be my next favorite. I usually buy a bunch of them and pop a few boxes in the freezer but at 4 bucks a box I only bought two this year. I'm tired of inflation on every damn thing, every time I turn around. My own snicker doodles are better anyway.
