Has an Automatic Teller Machine ever given you the wrong amount of money on a withdrawal? Private poll...so you can be honest!!!

I've never had anything like this happen to me. Interesting!

I've never gotten an incorrect amount of money but then again I've never used ATMs an a regular basis.

On another note, I did walk up to an indoor ATM (inside the lobby of a building) a few years ago and found several hundred dollars in the slot where money is dispensed. I took it into the bank connected to the lobby (it was their ATM) and turned it in to a teller. The teller called me a little later to let me know that a gentleman came in a few minutes after I left to ask if anyone had turned in ATM money but wasn't really expecting them to tell him 'yes' so he was relieved and thrilled to find out otherwise.
