It snowed again this weekend. If we're lucky, it might hit 35F this weekend. I think we're at 10-15 degrees below normal. Meh. I'm ready for some sunshine and flip-flops!

Well....it snowed on the first day of spring. It is supposed to snow later this week. But the temps here are saying that spring is here. So time will only tell.

No, not yet. Not really. We got snow yesterday (not a lot, Chicago got a dusting.) But, just south of us got tons. Springfield IL got MORE SNOW than they have ever had before. And my daughter who lives in one of the Mountain states got tons of wet, heavy snow, when they usually get lots of snow, but usually powder.
We have some bulbs trying to peek out, but we didn't have a lot of cover of snow during the worst of the winter, so we usually lose bulbs when there is no snow to insulate the bulbs and we have cold weather.

Even with the snow, I can smell Spring in the air & the daffodils are already 4-5" high. I see some of the trees are just starting to bud. My cats have definitely started to get Spring Fever on the milder days. I love the cold & snow, but I also love all the seasons, just not the MUD Season, ugh!
