Keep the head bald, but the goatee gets black at times....leaving two stripes of my natural red/orange showing through

It washes out but the stain still remains and a light bleaching could take the extra tint out so you can recolor it again. Is your hair short? If so I'd say go for it because it won't take very long to grow back if you change your mind. My hair is long and all the way down to my butt! I dye it all black. I can't dye it all a crazy color or anything because it's too difficult and expensive.

I have been dying my hair for the past 12 years (starting when I was 12) and I normally stick with unnatural black but have been known to have red, brown, and pink hair at different times.

I have never dyed my hair and don't see myself dying it in the future. The chemicals would do so much damage to my fine, thin hair and I prefer keeping it long and healthy looking.

I used to dye my hair regularly, but stopped after cutting it off really short. My color of choice for a few years was Manic Panic's Atomic Turquoise. It fades from turquoise to a really pretty pale green. I dyed it back to brown sometime in high school because of prom (at the request of my mother), but ended up with green "highlights" underneath, haha. I dyed my hair pretty close to black for a while, too, which was fun. Itching to dye it again, maybe back to black or else a red this time.

My natural color is a brownish blond, but I've done black, blond highlights, blond all over, red, a carrotish orange, pink, blue, blue with pink bangs, purple, & most recently purple & orange streaked all over.

I dyed it once when I was a teen. It was with green food coloring and ended up dripping down my forehead. Took a week to get it all off. NEVER did it again.

I've never dyed it myself (I don't trust my hands!), but I've had it professionally colored once. I went with a dark, cherrywood color (I have naturally brown hair), but it was so dark that the red was only visible in certain light. Other than that my hair just looked slightly darker and more "uniform" rather than multiple shades of the same color.
I'm thinking about redoing it in a few months, because I kind of liked the way it looked, and I have an un-Godly number of greys.

Been dying my hair since I was 16. My hair has been several different shades but, in the last few years, I've only done browner shades. I'd like to have my hair done professionally but, can't justify over $100 for long, thick hair prices.
