I wasn't able to get out of my bed after having my c-section so I wasn't able to shower for two days. I almost always have a shower/bath daily but sometimes I might skip it for a day.

Oh, my. That sounds painful. Did they all have trap doors so you could continue to feed him? A good feed, (and a short pump ONLY if he hadn't made a dent in the engorgement) and then some cabbage leaves on the breast for no more than 15 minutes, then repeat 1 to 2 hours later would have fixed you up in no time.

I'm sorry you were in such pain.

The only time I do that is when I'm sick and stuck in bed. I end up feeling gross, but if I'm sick and unable to shower that's the way it goes. Then it feels really GOOD when I finally feel better and can get a good scrub.

I shower every other day. My hair is long and thick and gets very dry if washed every day. If I am just at my desk all day there is no reason for me to waste the water. But the second day I will. Unless camping....that seems to be everyone's exception to the rule.

i have only twice missed a shower three days in a row, and both times my husband was in the hospital. first time we were far from home due to the hospital really being the closest one with the proper care for a heart attack victim, and the second being close but i was too worried to eat, sleep, and take a shower.

Just went 2 days without a shower. Our tub wasn't draining, had to get a plumber.

I shower every 3 or 4 days. Just depends how I'm feeling. I'm not a messy/dirty person, I don't really sweat. So when I -feel- dirty, I shower.

When I was having a severe bout of depression I think I went 3 or 4 days without showering, but I also was just spending all my time in bed. I felt so overwhelmed that it was hard to get out of bed to use the bathroom, let alone take a full shower.

Whenever I stay in the hospital here in China. They seem to think frequent showers are bad for your health. So if I can, I sneak out go home, shower then return.

When I go camping I don't shower, but I try to find a site near water so I can at least swim or be sanded down.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to breastfeed my son, and he was on formula from day one. (I had a biopsy done on what was determined to be a pre-cancerous growth in my right breast the year before, and though we were sure they had gotten everything out paranoid little me didn't want to risk anything.)

That said I'll have to remember the cabbage leaves next time around!

I was sick with the flu and went 3 days before because I couldn't leave the bed without getting deathly ill. Other than that, usually every other day. If I shower every day I dry my skin out bad.

I don't leave the house without showering, so I shower daily. The exceptions are if I stay at home all day over the weekend or if I'm sick.

HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

No shower, no sleep!
I'm on tank water, so when there's a power cut there is absolutely no water for anything. I have spent lonely long nights up just waiting for the power to return so I can have a shower and get my mega tired ass in bed.
I refuse to sleep (no matter how tired) unless I'm freshly cleaned.

I'm anal about having a clean body!
