I haven't tried the Eroscillator, but I've heard nothing but fantastic things about it. Definitely on my wishlist!

I have both and I like the hitachi better. I was a little dissapointed with the eroscillator. I don't think it is a bad toy, but it's not worth the price to me.

I think Hitachi get the most attention and the Eroscillator is rarely talked about - no good press.

The Hitachi sometimes makes me numb. The Eroscillator never fails to please. It has a rubbing motion rather than a vibration.

I think it totally depends on what you want to use it for.
The Hitachi is a big old thing, the vibrations can be felt over a large area because the head is so big. You may not be able to use it during intercourse or with a penetrative toy depending on positions. Some people have issues with going numb before being able to orgasm, because it vibrates over such a wide area.
The Eroscillator doesn't vibrate, it whips back and forth. It's much smaller than the Hitachi, so it can slide between 2 people, or between your body and a toy for dual stimulation. However the sensation isn't right for every body to respond to it - some women feel it isn't quite powerful or intense enough. Personally, I love my Eroscillator, and with most toys I'm a 4 vrooms kinda girl. So I definitely like my toys to pack a punch.

A friend of mine has both and she is IN LOVE with the Hitachi, but like others have said, the Eroscillator isn't worth the price and looks funny.

They both have different power settings, but I don't use either one on high because it is too strong for me. The eroscillator has different attachments that give different feels as well. They both felt pretty deep and rumbling to me.
I would go with the Hitachi over the Eroscillator, but that's just me. The Eroscillator is good, but was not worth the price for me.
