i honestly cannot choose between halloween and winter solstice. for me, my wedding anniversary is devil's night, the night before halloween, and my wife's birthday is the day of the dead, november 2, two days after halloween...so, it's a pretty special time. solstice, on the other hand, is pretty sweet also. can't choose.

Hmmm... I do love Christmas once it starts nearing, but the winter months are very hard for me, so I often say "I hate Christmas," but it's usually because the drastic changes (and because I'm pissy when it's cold! LOL). I mean you see rude people and sometimes, too much rudeness really gets me feelin' sad! I don't see near as much hate as I do around this time and that is the biggest shame.

Anyways, I'm a sucker for Valentine's day. Love Easter too! I do love a lot about Christmas -- family, teaching the kids about Jesus' B-day. So far we've had a new kid to teach this to every year for the past couple of years. It's just a time where we all talk about Jesus' b-day and nice things. It's a heart-warming Holiday for my family.

And Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving because everyone is so thankful. You see people voluntarily saying what they're thankful for, and that really does my heart good.

The religious reasons for Christmas make it special for me, but due to lack of interest our family doesn't really celebrate it.
