Even with a freezer full of ice cream. on a HOT night. we really enjoy just going out for ice cream (Frozen yogurt, really). Anyone else just enjoy the stuff more when you "go out" to get it????

Always have some in the freezer, usually a variety of flavors and a variety of toppings. No need to go out and spend $4 on a small cone.

I discovered that Aldi has very tasty ice cream for 2.99 for a half gallon. (really!) I normally hate Aldi's food, but their ice cream is bomb. Also, they don't put a lot of junk in their ice cream, surprisingly! At least the flavors we've bought. Just cream, milk, sugar, and natural flavor pretty much.

I go out if I want an ice cream so I can just get a single serving. I've struggled with bulimia in the past and ice cream is a trigger food for me so keeping large amounts of ice cream in the house is NOT a good idea for me.

I enjoy making my own ice cream, but nobody really eats it besides me. It's not bad; they just don't like it because it's homemade.

I'll go out for frozen yoghurt because they have a lot more variety of toppings than I ever have available at home.

For just ice cream, though, I'll just get stuff from the freezer. Unless I'm in California at Rite Aid. Either a Chocolate Malted Krunch cone, or Mint Chocolate Chip with Rainbow Sherbet on top. Thrifty's ice cream seems to be the only ice cream left that uses shaved chocolate instead of those hard little rectangles. Unfortunately, I can't get it out here. :/

We go for both. We really like to get frozen yogurt downtown, but we also have really yummy Haagen Dazs in the fridge.
