We have a weekly housekeeper, but hubby and I still do little cleanup and chores daily. I'm a "clean freak", so I wet my panties at the smell of a freshly Cloroxex home. Even the dogs know to line up for their weekly shower!!

I used to love housework now I am more neutral to not like it. It's never ending.

I do most of the housework in my house (but we share the outside chores). I don't hate it, it's just there to be done.

absolutely hate it, but if I didn't do it, this house would look like a tornado hit it in no time.... two kids, a husband and a dog.... all me.

I find that if you just completely give in and go into zombie mode, then it's quite easy to slog through even the most mundane of tasks, such as housework.

It's one of those things that has to be done. My husband is a neat freak so he can get edgy if it's not done. He does help though when he can so that's nice.

I'm neutral to housework in general. I hate doing the dishes but I like doing laundry and vacuuming. We try to split the housework evenly but there are times when my partner or I am just too busy to contribute.

It's pretty evenly split between the two of us. Since we got together things fell into place naturally based on what we like and don't like to do. Luckily he doesn't mind the chores I dislike and vice versa or we'd be in trouble! lol

I kind of enjoy it as a low stress activity that gives me time to think.

I hate it. I'm usually the one that does it all anyway. I especially hate washing dishes. lol.

I hate housework! I like cooking, but I hate cleaning and straightening up. Actually [italic]cleaning] things isn't bad. But, I hate straightening up, as the people I live with are pigs. LOL!

My daughter in Grad school is a very intelligent girl and a really great kid, but is a piggy pig McPiggerson. My 12 year old is actually better.

My husband does some things. He takes on "cleaning projects" like keep cleaning a few times a years, but then he complains about it while he's doing it.

I hate entropy! You straighten something up, and within a day or two or even a few hours, it's a fucking mess again. I don't like doing it.

It sounds like a SAD, pathetic white person First World Problem. But, I HATE entropy so much and I feel like I waste time straightening up and cleaning the same fuckin things every day!

I wish I had enough money to hire a cleaning person once in a while. Even twice a month would be good, but the money always goes somewhere else.

Our toilet in our downstairs bathroom was evidently leaking (clean water, thank G*d) under the floor into the subfloor, now my man had to take everything out (toilet, vanity, sink) tear up the floor, so you can see into the basement. Now, we have to replace all that shit and he has to fix the entire bathroom. We almost had enough money to take a vacation this summer. We haven't had a vacation since our 12 year old was 7 or 8. Now, we have to redo a bathroom. How can I put the money into someone to help me around here?

I hate it so much. ENTROPY sucks and I feel my time is wasted doing these mundane tasks when my time and limited energy to be used in better ways.

I HATE ENTROPY.

Yeah. It's not really a REAL problem. I just want some way to NOT waste my time with mundane tasks that, if I had a little more, I could pay someone to free up some of my time and limited energy.

it definitely depends on the chore....I could scrub countertops, organize, and vaccuum all day, but when it comes to mopping and cleaning the shower...NO THANK YOU!

But I have OCD tendencies and nothing makes me happier than an immaculate house.

I don't mind doing housework at all. The kids have chores, but of course that requires follow up, sometimes it is just easier and less time consuming to just simply do things yourself.

Most of the time I'm neutral on it. It's gotta be done.. But sometimes I'll get into cleaning something if I'm really upset. It's kind of therapeutic for me. For the most part, our housework is split evenly between us. We each have our own tasks, so to speak.
