I don't feel comfortable having babies near when I feel feel pressure to admire them or if one is very loud or smelly. I don't like when people carelessly make them. I've seen some that I find cute, but it is very rare. Costumes help. XD Obviously, I'm not having kids!

They're okay, but I dislike that people automatically expect I will know what to do and fawn over it if I'm near one. I'm afraid of parents taking offense if I don't gush enough and refuse to hold them, and when I do hold one, I'm afraid of dropping them.
God help you if you take one into a PG13 movie and above, though. It's annoying to hear baby talk and crying when you're watching a movie, not to mention the poor thing's ears are probably killing them.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, I guess babies are okay by themselves, it's the parents that tend to get to me.

It makes me sad that so many people seem to hate babies. I can understand some people not wanting their own, but hating babies because they act like... babies? Sad.
Infants are innocent and beautiful. They have the full potential of human optimal growth and success. You don't have to have them, but please don't be mean to them.
I adore babies and can't get enough of them. I guess that's required for my profession. I can't imagine someone who does what I do not liking babies. They'd have no use in the profession. Probably be dangerous.

I love my babies even though they are 27 and 32!! I love to get other people's babies and love on them...no grandchildren anywhere in the future for us :/

I don't really like babies, and most of strangers babies are annoying to me, especially when they are crying and squirming and the parents do nothing and don't care.
But I want to have a lot of babies, which I think won't be annoying to me because they'll be well taken care of. And they'll be my babies.

I voted "they're great" but I feel that way about my son. Other people's kids? Not so much but it is not the kids fault, it is usually based on their parents lack of parenting. I have been around some kids though that were very well behaved and had great parents so it varies. I do, however, prefer my son now that he is 3 and very verbal compared to the crying and whining only stage!
