How do YOU unwind from work/school/life pressure, when you come home?

No matter what kind of day it was, and it is usually harried crisis management, I have to just sit and watch about fifteen minutes of mindless TV. May be the weather channel, maybe Judge Judy, maybe FOX or CNN. Just anything to create OTHER noise in my head. Some people have a drink or smoke, others....well.....wha t do YOU do to help let the cares of the day fall off, when you get home?

I envy those who can literally forget work by just swiping out on the time clock or walking out the work door.....

Drive very slow going home, walk in the house, sit and smoke a cigarette and pet my dog. Then hit me with the house, dinner and what went wrong with your day. But maybe a beer first.....

walk in the door, take of my shoes (& socks if i'm wearing any), take off my jewelry, maybe change depending on what i'm wearing, grab my laptop, & plop my ass in front of the tv. occasionally, i'll make myself a drink, if it's been that kind of day.

I deal with a lot of people almost on a daily basis. Some days are better than others. Then there are the bad days where it's just one rude ignorant person after another. Generally to unwind from that, I need alone time. Or very quiet, relaxing time and doing something to keep my mind off of my bad day.

Lately, salt/milk baths have been a nice stress reliever. Although I have been experiencing a headache on and off for 2 weeks straight now. Stupid sinuses
