I was a member here for a few weeks before I wrote a review for the first time and then I went into the mentor program about a week later to learn the ropes and got pushed through to advanced status when I graduated the class.

I've known about this site for years now, but I didn't become a reviewer until recently. I never really had an interest in toys until my wife bought me my first one, and then I realized what I was missing!

I waited a couple of weeks before I wrote my first review. It seemed like a good idea (for me) to get to know the site, and to learn more about some of the toys and the materials they are made of. I also spend time each day reading reviews, and this really helped me to learn what components are needed for a really useful review.

I wrote a review the day I discovered Eden. I came looking for NobEssence, but the one I wanted was out of stock (sound familiar? ) I browsed around, read reviews for toys I already had, and one (the Silk Medium) I thought something very different than all the previous reviews had thought, so I was like "better review it!"

And I never looked back
