How many jobs did you apply to before you got the job you have now?

I got super lucky and had a connection that got me my current job, but before that I was having no luck at all. For that round of applying I had handed out probably 15-20 resumes.

I've had my current job for 7 years now, so this doesn't really apply to me.

I became self employed because I was tired of being abused at work.

Hmm..I was living in another state and I applied to COUNTLESS jobs before I gave up and moved "home", and now I work for my parents. I'm hoping the work experience makes me more employable when I move again and go back to school.

I went a year and half without a job and was always looking and applying. I even moved to see if that would help. I applied to every job at least once most of the time twice. Finally got hired. So I know that I filled out way more than 30 apps.
