I was looking through my key ring looking for a key today, and I thought to myself "self, what the hell do all these keys go to?" I must have close to 20 on my key ring I take with me everywhere. Anyone else have too many keys? Or keys that have no home that you know of?

I have about 10 keys I know where they all go and if I happen to find some that i don't I hang onto them for a bit or like momma22js I make a key ring for my kids to play with

Five. I took a lot of keys off my chain after our mechanic told us that it could mess up our ignition switch to have too much weight on the ring.

Oh man, I hate having a lot of keys on my key ring, because sometimes I slide it up my arm (elastic band) while I'm biking.
I have my bike key and my house key on it always (they're on the main ring, along with the elastic band), and then I have a quick-removable fob for my car key. I keep the keys to a few friends' houses in a side-pocket of my pack, though. Keys to work stuff and outbuildings are all in a jar near the telephone, and I take them only as I need them.

I only have 5 keys total: car, 2 apt, mail, moms house..to keep it from getting bulky, but then I have mace attached to the keyring..so I don't know how that is helping with the bulkyness haha.

I have one of those keyrings that are like a clip, so I keep like keys together so I can unclip things easily as I need them. On mine I have one key to my car, two to my husband's truck (one door one ignition), and another small ring with I think 4 keys on it. One of those keys I know goes to my front door, and I know there's purpose for the rest of them (or at least there used to be). I've got a few keychains as well. I just retired my Mr. It keychain, but still have my light up penis and my keychain that says "paddle faster I hear banjos." The ring itself has a metal "cause" ribbon that I can't remember what it says, and I'd have to double check for more keychains when my mom gets back with my keys.
Also, I can apparently talk a lot about my keys lol.

I have five keys on my rings. My car, my Man's truck, my middle daughter's car, my front door and my back door. Then I have the fob for my car, cards for our grocery stores and a copy of my library card and a little flashlight. That's it.

I have just my two door keys and the car key with remote. I have two key fobs from Coach. One is a heart with a turn lock. It opens up to reveal a picture frame. I have pic of my husband and I in there. The other is a studded skull and crossbones.

One truck key and one for the house. I have another key ring with about ten keys for the rental properties I take care of. In my garage I have a ring with about thirty keys that are from my days being a contractor, there are keys to most large equipment like back hoes and Bobcats along with a mess of Master lock keys.
