How many MPG do you get in your vehicle? (What's your gas mileage?)

For my own vehiculars, I've got an '81 Cadillac Seville that gets between 17 and 20 depending on where it's going. My 2000 Crown Victoria also gets about 17 around town, 20 on the highway. But my motorcycle, which I'll be using most of the summer, can top about 80 mpg

I have a 1992 Geo tracker that is beat to hell with 247,000 miles it still gets 30 MPG. I keep up on maintaining it it looks like shit but runs great.

We just bought a Prius; we're expecting at least mid 40s. Haven't had to buy gas yet! According to the display, so far we're getting 48 mpg.

If you live in a country that uses "liters" or some other form of measurement, feel free to post it in the response section.
Low 20s I think. I hate it...used to get 37 mpg highway in my old vehicle.

I did a long, LONG trip in my 2013 Honda CR-V and I can tell you, I was shocked that I got a measured 43 mpg. I was thrilled. I tracked it via gas purchases the whole time. I was in a colder area, so no AC being used, and it was almost 100% smooth freeway driving. I know my "usual" mileage is about 33 MPG in that car, but on this trip it was awesome.

I love those Honda's. I can buy any car I want and will always stick with Honda. That is just one reason. The others are reliability and safety.

A friend got an electric car. You will be shocked at how high your electric bills will go. Plus, it takes more energy from coal plants to produce the electricity. Electrics are neither "green", nor economical at this point. Then the HUGE expense and pollution in getting rid of those large banks of batteries!!!! Don't get duped. Do the research.

Look into the cost of charging them. The pollution caused by coal plants to charge them. The cost to replace batteries and the lead waste caused by those batteries. Pile on that the unavailability of parts/service and the LOW distance you can travel and you may find an electric...at this point in history, to me more a nightmare then "dream". I want an electric too...they just are far from viable options at this point. When they have a SOLAR POWERED car, with a back up engine for cloudy times, I am THERE.

I think 8-12 is what tanks get!!! Ouch.

Had one of those for a while....yes, they are gas hogs.

A 64 Valiant? That is like a classic now. Cool. Very cool.

I love my Prius. In summer I can get 52. Not so much in winter with the studded tires on, but I said 52 just because I do get that sometimes.

That's encouraging — it would be awesome if ours does that well. Is your Prius good in the snow?
