I personally need 2 pillows underneath my head and one between my legs to fall asleep. I actually have a full body pillow that I slip between my legs. My husband only needs one pillow but can also sleep without pillows. He doesn't really care. If I don't have all 3 pillows it will take a long time before I finally fall asleep. I'll be tossing and turning 'till I wear myself out. How about you? How many pillows do you need to fall asleep?

I have 7 on my bed, and arrange them in such a way that it's like a pillow cocoon. Quite comfy to snuggle down into.

Usually two fairly flat ones. Add one between my knees when I'm on my side, but I use a throw pillow, because I'd push The Man off the bed if I were to use a full size pillow.
We have two King Sized pillows and two regular sized pillows: one of each for both of us.
Yesterday, I finally broke down and bought new regular sized pillows, our old ones were too flat and lumpy. I tried to sleep on a new, fluffy, fat pillow, and one medium fat King Size pillow and woke up with a headache. Rich World Problems, indeed!

One if I'm on my stomach, with another, smaller one to support my neck if I turn onto my back. I don't really need that second pillow, but it feels better to have it there. I also like having something to hug, be it a pillow or a plushie.

I have two pillows - one that I just use for support while sitting (in combination with the other pillow), and another that's specially shaped to help me with my neck problems. I usually just sleep with the second one, although when I'm sick and congested I need both of them.

I sleep with two pillows and a giant squid body-pillow. I usually need to be cradling one of the pillows in my arms to fall asleep, and I often sleep with the squid at my back.

For me, it doesn't really matter how many pillows I have, but rather how fluffy they are. I have two moderately fluffy pillows.

One to two, I'm very picky about how firm they are and the texture of the pillow. Like if it's lumpy it'll bug me.
