If you have a dog, do you have a dog door?

I will never have a home again without a fenced yard and a doggy door. It is such a blessing to have the dog be able to come and go as they please (to a fenced yard) and not be forced to "walk" my dogs, unless we want to go on a walk.

How about you? How many people have a dog door they use?

I have 3, and no doggy door--no fence, either, so that'd be why. xD

I have 1 dog and no doggy door. But like flawlessedoza I also do not have a fenced in yard.

We have 2 doggies but no doggy door. My kids get the joys of letting the dogs in and out when they ask to be let out.

We don't need a doggie door because my baby likes us to accompany him when he needs to go.

3 dogs and one cat, they all use the dog door. After four years of not having to let them out every time I will never go back.

We won't have a home without a dog door. We had one in our last home and one of the first things we did when we moved into our current home was install a dog door.

My oldest dogs remembered how to "ask" to go out while the ones younger than 9 yo never really had to learn since we seldom locked the dog door. It was amazing that the younger dogs learned in just a couple of days to either scratch the backdoor or come looking for us - not a single "accident".

No doggy door here, Ceaser can't be trusted off a leash so he has to have an escort everywhere.
Then again he doesn't even walk that well on a leash either. xD

No doggy door here either - that's one of the kids' chores to let them out and in.

Nope, she'd fuss if she wanted in or out. Since she was a larger dog, if the dog could get in, so could quite a few burglers, so a door was a bad idea
