I'd prefer to see a nice mix of sizes and shapes actually, I tend to prefer average or plus size women more than the really stick-skinny sorts anyway.
Also...why yes I would like to see llamas pole dancing, it sounds absolutely hilarious! :3

I asked my husband and his response was; while he wouldn't want to necessarily see overweight women, he would much prefer "healthy" looking women with some curves to women that are too skinny and have no "meat" on them.

Pardon my ignorance, but I've been under the impression that one has to be in fairly decent shape in order to do a lot of impressive things on a pole. I have a hard time imagining plus size women being able to pole dance all that much. That's not so say they couldn't do a burlesque style show, but I understand "plus size" to be more than someone with "meat on their bones." I'm not saying this to be rude--there are a lot of sexy women of all sizes out there--it's just an observation.
That's the issue with using the "skinny" and "plus size" tags--they are actually opposite sides of the spectrum, and there's no accounting for women in the middle. I'd consider myself petite, but for my height and body type, I'm within a healthy weight range, I have boobs, I have a nice ass, and I'm definitely more than "skin and bones." I may be small, but I still have curves and am shaped like a woman, you know?

Hell, have the plus sized strip clubs, I don't care. All I'm saying, is that being physically fit to be a really good dancer often means not being too skinny and not being too overweight in order to do the job, which is probably why you see thinner women at strip clubs, dancing on poles.

It's been a really long time since I've been to a strip club - so I have no idea what current policies exist. My experience is that locality and club costs have a lot to do with it. I went to one just of campus in NC and the girls were mostly coeds. Not terribly skinny - just well proportioned. On the other hand I went to an elite club in Toronto where they brought in professionals from Montreal - they were all very petite french girls. Then I went to one in Pittsburgh - that was a rough blue-collar experience - and the girls fit the bill, kind of tough and meaty - not fat though.
