I don't sleep well at night and I find myself watching a lot of late night television. (and browsing eden. ) There are soooo many infomercials at night! I know a few people who actually like watching them, so I'm curious. What do you think about them?

Its a love hate relationship with me, like for example the magic bullet commercials, Ive probably seen it 100 times but the way they play everything out pisses me off and the actors suck haha but Im so fascinated with everything it makes and how perfect it comes out so i MUST watch it!

I absolutely hate them in a strong deep passion!
I always have the tv on for background noise while I surf Eden til early hrs of the morning. But when it gets to around 2am when 99% of channels have damn rubbish on, I flick over to the weather channel that jumps to different images of countries around the world and gives the temps while playing music.

I don't watch tv as-is. I get my shows without commercials when and how I want them. I don't know about infomercials but they don't sound too good.

Occasionally i will watch them for laughs, esp around xmas time--there are some crazy ones then

I have a lot of trouble sleep at night as well and there never seems to be anything on so that's what i end up watching. I'm not going to lie i get quite a kick out of how much then exaggerate the product and what life is like with out it.

I watch them sometimes because they are funny and I like to see how they try SO hard to sell something that most of the time people don't really need. I also love the vacuum or cleaning ones where they use other products and give a half ass effort until they show you how well their product works just to make it seem like their item is better than the others.

They're always so redundant and extreme in their positiveness about the product, so 1] I never believe them and 2] they eventually annoy me.

If I wake up early enough or am up late enough and am channel surfing, that's mostly what's on and I'll usually end up watching them. They're usually pretty entertaining even though they probably won't work nearly as well as they seem in the commercial.

I'm surprised to find out how many people actually like them! I'll agree, some are funny because they're soooo overly exaggerated and positive about what they're trying to get you to buy 10 of. They eventually annoy me though . . . and usually pretty quickly.

Can't stand them. Always ends up that they were flops and they have 'substantially' cut the cost for consumers. That to me, just means they will take whatever money then can at this point to get rid of their stuff.

I absolutely, positively love infomercials. When my sister visits we stay up all night just to watch them. They're hilarious.
