I've heard some friends claim that bad sex is better than no sex, but at this point in my life I just can't tolerate bad sex. I don't mean "our relationship is in a lull and we're in a rut" sex, I mean straight up terrible sex where your partner is either completely inept or just doesn't seem to care how bad they are at it (or whether or not you're enjoying yourself).

So here's the question. What's better - terrible sex, or no sex at all?

I guess my philosophy is, if the sex is bad turn it around. Try and make it good. Talk to your partner, tell them what you're not liking and what you would prefer. Maybe you can teach them something and the sex will get better/be better in the future. (:

No. Bad sex is bad sex. It's disappointing and frustrating, sometimes even painful. So for me, no sex is better than the leftover feeling of not being satisfied, wasted time and frustration.

Sometimes, you do. And they just. Don't. Listen. You can only turn bad sex around if they'll actually listen to you, and both partners are willing to turn it around. :-/

Yes, no sex is better than bad sex.

I tend to think anyone who thinks otherwise has never really had the kind of BAD sex the rest of us are talking about! We're not talking boring, or merely disappointing; we're talking horrid, uncomfortable or even painful, upsetting...

Why not skip the bad sex part & get right to what you already might do afterwards? Masturbation is better than bad sex!
