Is Facebook or Pictu and other social media sites effecting your relationship?

Contributor: Rod Ronald Rod Ronald
Does your partner spend every waking moment with his or her face shoved in there mobile device. Constantly checking there facebook news feed, or seeing what jack off liked there newly uploaded oic on Pictu? Does it drive you nuts? Does it effect your relationship?

No. Luckily my parter is not on FB or any other site and though I have a FB acccount reluctantly (for now), I don't really do anything on it.

My previous partner was on it a lot though.

My boyfriend loves Reddit, but it doesn't get between us. So, nope, we're cool.

My girlfriend uses a few different sites but none of them bother me.

I x out all social media and computer use when I'm around my boyfriend. Actually, many of the reasons why I'm so computer addicted is BECAUSE we don't live close so when I go see him I don't touch facebook or my laptop at all.

He's rarely ever on FB - the only thing he checks his phone for is actual calls so it never interferes when we're together. (I was so pleased when his phone once did ring during sex and he ignored it.) I'm more net social than he is, but I use a laptop that takes forever to boot up, so there's no point in being online when we're hanging about together.

My husband doesn't really do anything on the computer and his phone is a very basic phone that doesn't have internet access or anything. So no, it doesn't bother me, but when he did it was an issue.

Nope. He doesn't use social media really and he doesn't ignore me or our daughter unless its work related and I will not complain about that!

He doesn't have the internet on his phone and isn't a big social media user, so no. My sister though....

I debated between "no" and "other". No, it doesn't bother me, but he doesn't use social networking at all. He plays video games and is on message boards lol

Mine is like that, too. He's always on video games and chatting on them. Guess who gets most of the work done around the house? Forget lady of leisure. He's a man of leisure. Cleaning, cooking, laundry, painting, home improvement... my list of stuff to do goes on and on, and he just sits there in front of the warm glow of his games.

Mine is on a FB car group ALL DAY. It doesn't bug me that much because I'm always on here and Twitter and stuff.

We don't do any of the social network sites. I really find them all kind of silly personally, so it's good we both feel the same way. I definitely wouldn't like it if he were on there all day, and he'd feel the same way about me.

I see so many people glued to their phones all day - even when out in public with a group of friends! It really is like an addiction for some people.

No, actually, Facebook makes me hate people other than my partner. It makes me hate all my friends instead. They do such annoying stuff there!

Nope. My wife and I are very open and if something bothers us we talk. But it rarely happens. When one of us is on FB we are usually sitting right next to one another laughing

My husband doesn't care about Facebook, but he spends quite some time on Flickr, because he loves to share his photos with his Flickr buddies, and also to check out their work. I'm totally fine with it, as I spend even more time on Eden.

lol Good for her! And for you listening to her. Unfortunately, we've already had numerous discussions about this, and it goes nowhere.
