I don't have AC here, but I opened my bedroom window around the first weekend of May and don't intend to close it until Fall. I also run a fan for the entire summer and parts of the rest of the year, too!

we have a swamp cooler, my wife has it on more than i do, i prefer just to open the windows and/or hang out in the finished part of the basement

We have AC here in Italy (a small one that is mounted on the wall of every room), but the weather has been in the low to mid 70s. My "papa'" has used it a few times but I personally haven't.

mine is on most of the time but i do try to turn it off some to keep my bills down..

Oh man, I feel your pain. Having AC problems in Florida is the worst! Especially in the middle of summer. We have a new one now, but our old one would freeze up in the middle of summer and we would have to go days with no AC. The humidity crap is not for me either. It's like a smack in the face sometimes. lol
