Are they really worth it? I want one but I'm having mixed feelings about it... Should I save myself some money and just order the Hitachi? Or should I just take a chance and try one of the smart wands?

honestly those hand held massagers are really all the same several different companys make them and i would look around for something more affordable but if i had to say i would get the hitachi

Honestly I don't like the Hitachi or the Smart wand for clitoral stimulation. I prefer my Fairy wand. The Hitachi and Smart wand are too bulky.

We just bought a smart wand and like it quite a bit. WE have others for travel, etc, but it's a good massager in the cordless category. If your clit needs a jackhammer, however, get the Hitachi.

I really like both LELO wands because they are light weight, rechargeable, the silicone feels nice, vibration patterns and they are pretty quiet compared to others.

Looking at most of the Smart wand reviews... I would say get the Hitachi.
But if you are looking for opinions... i'd say get neither and get the next items on your wish list.

Wife enjoy its in the bathtube (LELO wand is waterproof). No other wand can do this.
We ordered the Meduim one, works well outside of tube also. We found out it fit her vaginal open perfect (Lelo states not for internal use BTW) Still trying to figure this one out, after all it is Silicone and waterproof. I belive its a company image issue or they dont people trying it with other wands and become injuryed

The Hitachi is SOOOO strong that I can't use it all the time, and I need pretty strong vibrations to reach climax. Also, the Hitachi has to be plugged in (Boo) and every time I have to clean it I'm worried about getting water in paces it doesn't belong. It's a fun thing to have around, but the Hitachi is definitely not something that I would recommend using all the time. Vibrations that intense, that leave you feeling numb after using it can't be good for you.
The Inspire is great, it's small and strong, but has to be plugged in. Also, the vibrations are a little on the buzzy side as apposed to being rumbly like the Hitachi.
The Mystic wand rechargeable is a nice and strong and doesn't have to be plugged in while using it. The vibrations are a bit more rumbly than the Inspire. This is my current favorite, but I am going to try the smart wand sometime very soon.

I have the large (black). It has a lot of power, but I can not comapre it to the hitachi because I do not own one. i will tell you that the so called "smart controls" are pretty stupid.

I have the Mystic Wand and love it but am now looking for a different texture and am planning on purchasing the Smart Wand Medium, hopefully anything other than white/ivory. I researched the difference between the two sizes and felt the Large was too large for me it being a little larger than my Mystic Wand bulb. Not only that I have the battery operated wand, my next one I want to be rechargeable. I've heard the Hitachi is very powerful, that would over stimulate me only to disappoint me and not achieving maximum pleasure.

Tip; To make the Smart wand Sensor to work properly, turn it on with no pressure on it or moving it. If you have any pressure againts it, it will go from low to HIGH really fast. I also believe there a learning system in it. Seems to be getting smarter
