Anyone just love Pokemon video games?

I only like the original Pokemon. It got kinda ridiculous after a while, in my opinion. But yes, I have the old school Blue version... with me in college. Squirtle is my main man.

I love that there was new pokemon after the origional. I think there has been so much added and its alot more fun and the pokemon arent genderless anymore and you can get any pokemon at level 1 and they are stronger if u train them from lowest level.becaus of breeding and eggs there has been a great breeding guide created,and you can create the perfect pokemon. Yes there is alot more to follow now,but I think it really is better, if you are a pokemon freak there is something you can do if u don't want to be just like everyone else playing and battleing..there is competitive battleing with involves strategy,ev training (which invloves math)planning and thinking. SO there is way more to pokemon that meets the eye. IF anyone is interested it can get confusing,but I have some wonderful links on the breeding/competitive battleing. It really is like a competitive sport.

unfortunatly I haven't beaten the game yet but I plan on,even slowly working my way to the top someday. oh and I have pearl and soulsilver,but plan on buying more games even the gba which I never did play. Ya so once I dropped out of pokemon for ages and came back its alot more to take in but with patience,and the help of google,wiipals.net( chatroom wher u get your own profile,make friends,allbout video games),the guide books and time you could really have a good time and become the best

LMAO! It was NOT cool to play when I was playing. It was for my brother's age at the time mostly. Idk how old I was...but I stole the games form him to play in secret lol. It has a whole new coolness now that my boyfriend finds it super hot that I used to play D&D and things like Pokemon.

I don't play SH, but one of my guilty pleasures is watching game play online I like the plot line and the psychology of it, y'know?

oh cool you have heart gold or soulsilver if you have a poke walker. I had a pokewalker for my soulsilver but I can't find it. You could just put a pokemon in it you don't care about or one u don't like to help get free stuff on the pokewalker lol. I've been reading about all ths breeding stuff and competitive batteling and tiers it gets confusing/complicated. .thats ok with me though I do n't want to just be another kid beating the game and battleing their pokemon. Pokemon can get pretty deep and become a fine art lol.

ooh do you watch gameplay on youtube? I find its really helpful when you get stuck in pokemon games to watch someone show you wat to do or watch other people battle or how they do things is really useful

ya someday I'm penny pinching right now and I have pearl and only 4 badges in pearl and like 1 is silver so I think I'll just keep playing pearl..tell my boyfriend I want a pokewalker for my birthday lol

I like anime too. I don't care how nerdy or uncool pokemon or anime is I like it and I find myself finding several other people I work with my age or even a little older who like anime and I'm 22!

I'm 28! Japanese pop culture is now much cooler than it used to be. I think it's both good and bad, but generally it is good--I'm glad you have found people into it at work. It's so good to have people who have something in common with you at work!

I do watch gameplay on YouTube, but not for Pokemon. I like figuring out the games I play myself, so the only gp I watch is for games I don't have.

Ash wanted to be the best Pokemaster ever. So, like any respectable 10 year-old with a clear-cut life calling, he left his mom and home to be a wanderer. And he caught Pokemon. And he trained them. And then he won... (At this point the creators realized, [itlaic|Shit! He just completed the goal. Must come up with reason to continue series...] So then there were all these new Pokemon to catch and new people to be friends with and new battles to win and... stuff.

Every time the show ends, it recreates itself with new Pokemon to catch and battles to be won. Still the same plot though.

Sometimes I get stuck in the game and if I get stuck for too long I go look up what I should do on google or watch it on youtube.

also the books tell you things you couldn't know like having 2 pokemon parents from diffrent user Id's increases your chance of a shiny. I love the guide books.
