Driving to work this morning, as I pass the bus stop for the local high school, a young lady...alone at the bus stop, bends over..FAR over, revealing her either bare buttocks or perhaps she was wearing a tiny thong (I was driving, and TRYING to keep my eyes on the road). She looked over her shoulder and grinned, so I KNOW this was a "show". When I stopped for the light, half a block up, I saw her repeat this two other times for male drivers.

My only thought was "someone is going to end up stopping and she is going to get far more negative attention then she wants with this little game". Of course, had I dared stop and tell her what she was doing was really stupid, I would have probably been the one in trouble....so I just drove on.

Have any of you ever been witness to this kind of "show"? Have YOU ever been the one to do that kind of flashing??? WHAT were you thinking?? Please share.

There is a ferry that connects us to Galveston here and it takes about 15 minutes or so to cross. I always get out of the car when I'm going there (normally in a bathing suit) and feed the seagulls from the back of the ferry. One day I was walking back to the car and this guy is sitting in his car and whisted to get my attention. I started walking that way then as I got closer could see that he was jacking off...ugh.

I've never been flashed before. The girl who flashed you probably wouldn't fit in this category, but serious flashers often get a sexual thrill from the shock and fear they cause in their victims. Knowing that, I would probably point and laugh if some guy jumped out of the bushes in front of me.

I've been flashed a number of times. A guy who jogged ahead of me then bent down to tie a shoelace in a way that allowed his hard penis to be out of his shorts. The guy in the apt across the street from me who opened his wide, low curtains every morning in the buff. A woman who bent over facing the rest of the class to fill out a form, allowing her top to hang away from her and expose all.

None of these incidents bothered me.

I have been flashed before. I think it's a pretty dumb thing to do, and depending on the situation it can be a major trigger for abuse survivors, but I never reported the incidents. It's a pretty stupid thing for an underage girl to do, but I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it.

I have been flashed several times as a young girl, teenager, and even just a few years ago. The last was the only stranger that flashed me; and it was certainly the most surprising. I was driving to the airport in the middle of the night and a hooker dropped her coat (that was all she was wearing, she was barefoot too) as she stepped into the my lane of traffic. She was screaming, "Hey, baby! I'll make you feel real nice!" I couldn't stop laughing. I think she was completely wasted.

I guess I did feel nice because of the laugh I got from it, but honestly she was a tad gross looking. I had a great story to tell my mom when I picked her up at the airport, though.

My husband, on the other hand, has never been flashed by a stranger. He is feeling a bit cheated right now. Poor thing.

I've never flashed anyone myself. I'm sure people have seen my stocking tops, (hey, stocking fall) but not any part that isn't accessible when one is wearing a bathing suit or underwear.

I have been flashed, more times than I can count. The first time I was about 7 or 8, and a really stoned or drunk man was wandering around about 2 blocks from the school with his penis hanging out. It was as just the kids were getting out of school. He started following myself and a few friends. I had to walk home, and the last few blocks alone. It was the first time it occurred to me, "That man could hurt me with that penis." I was so scared, I ran all the way home and told my mom. She locked the door but refused to call the police, "You don't want that kind of attention."

It happened numerous times when I was in High School and college. As a a young, small woman, I always felt threatened, and never gave the man any attention. They do it to make you scared or shocked, so even as a young teen, I never gave him what they wanted. Although once a guy jerked off to my friend and I while we were walking and he was in a truck. "Hey, girls, you want some of this?" We laughed, but that's what you do when you're 15. We were scared, and I think it was better than acting afraid.

I think it's a foolhardy thing to do, man or woman.

When I was a kid, some drunk guy was flashing along the side of a busy road near a retirement home.

This was before cell-phones got really popular, so my parents pulled into the next gas station and called the police. I don't think they were really bothered, and they had a laugh about it, but reported the guy for the sake of other people and probably his own safety.

My reaction was just, "lol a wee-wee". I have a little brother, so it wasn't exactly news to me.

When I was in high school, I was in my friend's car when she went into the convenience store. Some OLD guy walked up the the car, RIGHT up to my window, took out his junk and jiggled it in my face. Window was up (thank goodness) but I locked the door until my friend got back. Scared the heck out of me.
