Urine is sterile and the shower immediately washes it away, so it isn't even like a watersports thing.

I pee in the shower if I'm already in the shower. I don't see a reason not to, since worse things go down the drain. Ex: menstrual blood. Sorry to be gross but I mean what is the difference? The water washes it away and not to mention that showers (hopefully) get cleaned every so often. There's no big deal. If you're scared of pee in your shower then you might as well change your underwear twice a day and disinfect your toilet seat every time you use the restroom.

I guess I'm in the minority. I don't ever pee in the shower and I don't like when my husband does it. Yeah, urine is sterile in your bladder and as it is leaving the body. But, once it is out, (as I said before) it is an excellent medium for bacterial growth. Let a cup of pee sit for a day or so, it will be filled with bacteria. That stuff goes into your cistern or the part of your Municipal water treatment that is NOT treated as waste is. Yeah, menstrual blood gets into the tub, but we're talking a few tablespoons every month, not a pint or more a day.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I get my ass out of the shower, dry my butt and sit on the toilet.... like a lady! I still think peeing in the shower is not nice.

And, yeah, I'm one of those people who sanitizes the toilets all the time and change my underwear twice a day, too. HUZZAH for OCD!!!!

Although, I suppose if you're into water sports, it would be a lot easier to clean up if you do it in the shower.

Yes I pee in the shower occasionally; I don't see how it's any different than peeing in the toilet because the water drains immediately anyways. Also, I wash my body thoroughly after I pee, so I'm cleaner than after regularly taking a leak in the toilet.
