PETS

I caved over the weekend and bought Bowie a cagemate - her name is Ziggy (as in Ziggy Stardust) and she's such a love...total opposite of Bowie who's turned out to be kind of aloof for a rodent.

After middle school, we had to move to an apartment and where we could ONLY have a cat. From that point on, all we had were cats because they were so much easier to take care of. I had cats up until I moved home from Maine 6 years ago. I decided to take a break from cats, especially the damned cat hair! It always drove me crazy that it was every where! We now have two dogs and to be honest, the terriers shed more than the damned cats! Especially our Jack Russell mix. She has that short hair, but it's like pine needles that stick in the carpet and on the furniture and you can't get them out. Now I'm remembering why I preferred cats in the first place because dogs are just too damned needy. It was nice for awhile when I was alone in my apartment, but now that I have a child, the dogs just drive me nuts. Barking at every noise, having to go in and out all day long. Thank god we live in the country and can just let them run, because I hated having to take my dog walking when I lived in the apartment. Now I'm missing my cats and I swear, once these dogs expire (though I still love them dearly even if they do drive me crazy), I am getting two cats! I always get them in pairs. We just don't have a big enough house for cats AND dogs.

I have two cats. I my kitties! One is really jealous, she won't get off the bed during sex. She will turn her back and lay there. If we shut her out of the room she makes so much noise trying to tear down the door to get in. Soon as we are done we runs up and cuddles.

We have one spoiled little mixed breed doggie.
Although in the past I've had everything from a parakeet to a crawfish, from a little white mouse to a turtle.
We lived in a few places where we couldn't have a cat or dog so I had to ger pretty creative.
