four pillows, two for each of us, when hubby is home. When he is gone working (truck driver), I sleep with one of his on top of one of mine and put the other two beside me. one on each side to cuddle up to. The smell he leaves on his pillow helps me sleep when he is gone.

Even if the other is gone on business...we get sandwiched by three Rottweilers.... so no lack of snuggles in our bed!!!

my lab used to sleep on hubby's side but she decided my daughter needs her protection, so she sleeps in her room. Daughter has a sliding glass door in her new room.
