oh its nice just recieving flowers, but it is super cool if someone gives you the plant so you can take car of it

I like getting the ones that I can put in my garden and enjoy over and over again.

I like getting plants. Especially if it's for a memorial or something. It is kind of distressing to watch flowers wither when you just lost someone. x_x I have tons of houseplants and ornamental plants in the garden. When one of our kitties died five years ago, the vet gave us a "garden basket" with a selection of living houseplants, instead of flowers. I still have the plants, and I propagated them, so now I have multiples of many. That is good because I can remember, and remember their generosity.

Not such a big deal when they're "just because" but I'm more of a foliage than a flower girl anyway.

I love daisies and luckily for me, daisies are basically glorified weeds. I prefer knowing that someone who brought me flowers went out and picked a few rather than spending mega-bucks on something that's going to die in a week.

I never get flowers for some reason, even though it's obvious I like them because I have them tattooed across my chest and down my arm.

Agreeing with Dawn--I love flowers and am happy to get them on the super rare occasions that happens on.

I'm allergic to most flowers, so I'm fairly frustrated when I get them. Sorry?

I love the idea of getting flowers, it's not worth the week-long sneezing and headache.
