My purse is driving me nuts. I LOVE that its big enough to carry a few diapers, a bottle, my oversized wallet and a few other things. This allows me to ditch the diaper bag on short runs. It has a super cute pattern with decent sized shoulder straps. BUT its HUGE! This thing keeps rubbing against things and knockin' stuff off shelves, countertops...I can't move with this thing on my shoulder without having to look around me first lol. Which do you prefer?

I usually just put stuff in my pockets.
I have a small bag that I use if I want to bring my Kindle and maybe food with me - it's only a little bigger than the Kindle (but fits everything else in it, too), so definitely "small".

I like to carry my wallet in my pocket when I can, but I also sometimes carry a small purse (about the size of a bag for a digital point-and-shoot camera), which can only hold wallet, keys, phone, spare change, and maybe a pen.

Honestly, I love the look of smaller purses, but most of my bags are large-oversized. I tend to carry my life in my purse with me... so my regular every-day purse is a big monster. Every so often I'll switch it up to a small bag if we are going out somewhere special... but for the most part, It's gigantic for me!

I like medium sized purses. But, when I had babies, I liked backpack diaper bag/purse combos. I had one that was a complete backpack, and I could keep my wallet, meds, baby Motrin, my make up, a couple of cloth diapers, a plastic bag (for the diapers) some plastic pants, a few nursing pads, a tube of butt cream, a change of baby clothing and a change of shirt for me, in case of a blow out, some baby toys and even my phone. I didn't use bottles, so I didn't need to worry about keeping stuff cold. I'd just throw in a sippy cup for an older baby, if we were going to eat and they needed some water to drink. My backpack had pockets on the sides for sippy cups, but I am guessing they could be used for bottles, too.

I honestly do not know how I'd ever get by without my purse! I have all sizes, but like the large size because it will hold more. I like purses that have plenty of compartments and pockets with zippers inside so I can organize things somewhat.

I keep my wallet in a purse, though the size depends on whether or not I need or want a few books along. There's things I just like to have with me if I'm going to be gone for a while: hairbrush, phone, keys, a few band-aids ('cause you never know), some pads or tampons if my period's due... things like that. I can't really keep all of that in my pockets. I only put my wallet in my pocket if I'm making a short trip.

Most days I use my big purse, but it gets heavy. So when sight seeing or long shopping trips I have a really small purse that crosses across my torso, but it's not very cute. When I'm just being the taxi mom on a quick drive I put my phone and wallet in my pocket and go.

I think most mothers have to carry at least a medium bag by default. I prefer to stuff what I need in a small bag or my pockets, but now that I have mini-me, I need tissues and chap stick and this, that, and the other, so I usually have to lug a suitcase-sized abyss everywhere.

If I'll be out and about, I grab a medium-sized tote since I carry my wallet, reusable shopping bags, a book, journal, writing utensils, cell, water bottle, and a small essentials bag with lotion, lip balm, tampons, first aid stuff, etc. But I also love my wristlets.

Mostly I carry around a medium sized purse that fits my wallet, which is a wristlet itself among many other things. For those occasions where it's not efficient to lug my entire purse, like a play party or a club, I just bring my wristlet/wallet since it has all the important stuff and I can fit a couple tubes of say lip balm/mascara, etc. in it.

I am so not a purse person. Wallet and cell (sometimes keys) are all I need. If I'm not wearing something with pockets for it all, my girlfriend always has room in her HUGE purse! lol I still don't know what all she carries around in that thing!

I have large purses because I carry half of my bathroom with me when I leave the house. I also take lots of medications, which I carry with me for emergencies. When I go out, I usually try to fit everything mandatory in a wristlet if possible. If not, then a small purse.

I have always been a fan of small purses, but earlier this year I switched to a messenger bag so I didn't have to bring my purse and a book bag to class seeing as I only used the book bag for maybe 4 legal pads because I don't have to bring any textbooks with me. I can slip my iPad or even my laptop into it if I want to, and I don't have to worry about two bags anymore. I really like it, despite swearing up and down that I would never carry a monster purse, but I can justify it because it is my book bag too. I just switch to a small purse when I am going somewhere where I don't want to carry a big bag.
