Difficult choice... 9.5/10 Boots and sandals are nearly always 10, flats depend on the shoe, sneakers depend.

9.5, but have you ever noticed that most places offer "whole and half sizes 5 - 8 1/2, whole sizes 9, 10, 11?" so that makes finding a 9 1/2 in anything other than sneakers damn near impossible, so I gotta go with the 10s.

For years I work nothing but Birkenstocks. (Yeah, I'm an old hippie.) I wore a European 35 Wide. (which is a 5 in American sizes) Birkenstocks are wide anyway, so they fit.
I have a terrible time finding shoes to fit. Unless I go to a really expensive shoe store, most pretty shoes do not come in wide widths.

I can wear anything from a 6 to a 7.. depending on how wide the shoe is.. I have very short but wide feet

Size 12 or 13 or size 44 or 45, but sometimes that is even a squeeze.
I`ve found that if I want some fun shoes, go to a a shop that caters to men who enjoy dressing like women. They have go go boots and sometimes strappy shoes too.
I have a couple pairs of dressy heeled boots and loafers with heels... but because they are so hard t replace never get worn. I have a long pretty narrow foot.
Here in China, I used to try to go shoe shopping as China is quite literally a shoe addicts dream country (think all the possible styles you could ever imagine and more) and you could buy shoes for the rest of your life for less than 200USD.
When I go shopping for shoes here, only one store in the whole territory sells shoes that fit me. And that is only because they know I come in twice a year to buy a specific style of shoe, so they have that shoe in two different colours for me to choose from.
I love shoes. But I have big feet.

I used to be a 7-1/2 (on rare occasion an 8), but I've noticed recently that my shoes are smaller than I remember them being. I suppose I'm a full-fledged 8 now.

I chose 7 but I have quite a few 6.5 and even a few 6 and 7.5 - and they all pretty much fit the same.

10.5. My feet grew with my age from 5-12 and then I grew an arch and lost some weight. Tough life, lol.

An 8 to an 8.5, of course it is one of the most popular ones, I cant find a decent pair on clearance because all the clearance shoes are sized 6.
