I am a plus sized woman and have always been fascinated by exotic dancing. The thought has crossed my mind a few times over the years that if only I was thinner I would so try it but alas I am not thinner and even tho plus sized is beautiful and there are a lot who find us attractive the low self esteem in me says who would actually pay to see me dance . So my questions are are there other plus sized girls who have had the same though or maybe have or are exotic dancers? Who here would go to see plus sized woman dance?

I want to get into dancing. I am a HORRIBLE dancer but have always loved movements of bodies. I think it'd be a nice way to feel more in control of my movements and feel more sensual.

I have always said some one knew what they were doing when they gave me a little weight. If I had been smaller growing up I would have either entered the military or been on a pole. Of these two things I am positive. Instead I married a military man and he bought me a pole last year. (For His Eyes Only).

I think that some people maybe into it, because they are more attracted to plus sized women while others might go just for the kicks of making fun of someone laying their soul bare. Some people are cruel like that.

I would prefer having a plus sized lady dance for me in private than in front of a croud. I would be afraid she would be made fun of. Unless it was an exotic dancing place only with plus size women. Then people would go expecting wonderul curves and insults wouldn't insue.

I really don't know. I just wouldn't want my emotions getting hurt if I did do something like this (even though I am not plus sized).

I agree with you I don't think I could stand be laughed at or being the party joke. I wish there was a place that curvier woman could dance and those that like to see us could watch and have fun that would be cool.

No, I haven't and won't. Being large I don't like looking at myself naked (I have a terrible body shape), so I couldn't imagine anyone else wanting to look either. If I was slim, I'd so be into it!

That being said, I admire larger girls who do it. Their confidence is extremely sexy!

Maybe not stripping, but burlesque really interest me. I know it's very similar, but I feel like burlesque is classier and that even a big women can be sexy that way, while normal stripping isn't gear towards big women.

Cabaret appeals to me more than stripping - stripping is merely a showing off of the body and how double-jointed it is. Cabaret requires a bit of talent in either dancing, singing, comedy, stage magic, etc. I suppose this is the performing arts school student in me really saying this. "If you are on stage, you must entertain."

So I'd likely put my vote in for burlesque, too.

I would actually prefer to see plus sized women dancing over watching skinny girls with fake tits. I find women with natural curves much more appealing. I also prefer to see women whose breasts actually bounce and move than some chick with rock hard looking breasts trying to jiggle them. I personally would not strip- not for lack of esteem on how I look but because I suck at dancing

There are some plus-sized-only strip clubs and burlesque groups. They're no where where I live, but if you're near a bigger area, look into it. I always wished I could go to one, but they're just too far away.

A nick name I've picked up over the years is "Amazon Woman". I am no bean pole, but I am well built. I do have a belly roll which I am being forced to work at getting rid of (I am just so attached to it!!! Or it is just so attached to me!) due to never wanting back pain again. I am not skinny. I have never nor will I ever be considered thin. My frame... well even when I was just skin and bones according to the BMI thingie, I was obese. Yeah. Stoopid chart thingies. And stoopid society for trying to fit people into categories that do not fit for all. You can't tell a six foot something nine year old that they are obese because your chart tells you that my weight is in an older grouping. Grr!!!!

I love being in the nude, or just wearing a skimpy silk nighty and parading around my house. I enjoy stripping for the man in my life during random times through the day. When I was younger, I had no problems stripping or attempting to dance (although I do have the tendency to fall over my own two feet so dancing is really not something I can do no matter how I try but I still try and usually end up on the floor laughing) with friends.

My body is mine. Every ounce of it, and I am proud of it.

Good for you I'm comfortable in my skin with bf but others not really. I hate the BMI thing it doesn't take into account muscle mass bone structure or body type so I think its bull shit to tell someone they are overweight but the number n an incomplete chart.
