So how many of you are susceptible to the dreaded "songstuckinmyheadonre peat-itis" It runs in my family and is exacerbated by people purposely singing/humming songs they know will get stuck in your head only to laugh maniacally when they hear you humming/singing it later?! Villains!

This happens all the time to me, but what's funny is I infect my oldest son when I'm singing a song that's stuck in my head and it gets stuck in his too.

Unfortunately, I almost always have something playing in my head while I'm awake. But it's worse when it's something you despise. Why do those tunes stick like velcro?

Absolutely! It can be really brutal sometimes! Often, it's some pop gem I can't stand.

It happens to me every day. You see I write stories based on songs, the only way to get the full story out of my head is to listen to the same song repeatedly. Fortunately I only repeat the ones that evoke strong emotional romantic feelings. Oh yes, and I don't get sick of them.

Happens quite frequently, never a full song just a few lines here and there. Most often not my music something the kids are listening to.

Happens to me all the time. Sometimes I'll even wake up in the mornings with a song already in my head.

When I get a song stuck in my head, its there until I listen to it, then it goes away.
