Have you made a commitment to yourself to change a habit? To quit smoking, eat healthy, start working out, start saving money etc? What is it and how do you keep yourself motivated to achieve your goals?
How do you stay motivated?

I do small rewards. I'm currently on a diet I want to loose a small amount of weight, so what I do is if i stuck to it for a week I reward myself with a small splurge over. Like I will have a bowl of ice cream or some cookies stuff like that to reward myself.

I have zero motivation, and I'm in such poor health right now. All I know is that I won't deprive myself - I've gone that route before and it just made things so much worse. I know when to reward myself, and I stop to acknowledge and be proud of all the little things I've done.

When I quit smoking it was to donate a kidney so I just kept telling myself that Im pathetic if I can't quit to save someone's life. And it worked.

I'm currently trying to exercise everyday, especially since I have the time. What keeps me motivated is looking at myself in the mirror (haha, I know, vain). I finally decided to start exercising again because the extra fat just really got on my nerves. Plus, exercising helps me feel better (when I don't for a while, I start to get headaches). That is motivation too.

to pay the house off in 5 years. It is very hard to stay on target when i see so many things that I would love to go out and buy. I have to keep reminding me of where my money needs to go.

I quit smoking two years ago, but I used an e-cig so I didn't really have any problems quitting. Right now I'm trying to change my eating habits and walk or do the elliptical trainer every day. I stay motivated by thinking about how it impacts both my physical and mental health. Mostly my mental health. Since I need to be healthy to take care of my son, that's what I think about. He's my best motivation for any healthy change.
