We use netflix and are alwyas streaming movies and for the kids cartoons, and I consider it very worth it instead of paying the price of a blueray or going to the movies. Do others use these services as well and do you like it? We couldn't live without it.
Do you subscribe to a movie service like netflix or blockbuster?

I had Neftlix and didn't use the streaming feature much unless I was bored at my night job. If my husband and I were home more often it may be worth it, but until then we'll just watch stuff for free online when we have the time.

I think my husband dropped the subscription to Netflix because we would always forget to watch the movies.

We LOVE Netflix cause we don't get cable (by our choice). We also use hulu to watch our shows and sometimes tvpc.com to watch them live-streaming (like Supernatural - my favorite show and Castle which is "our" favorite show to watch together).
I get the Hulu plus so I can watch older shows too - like rewatching all of Buffy or Angel - lately I've gotten hooked on Standoff and am watching all of the episodes for that series.

I was using my friend's Netflix account for a long time but I finally decided I wanted my own account and right now I do the streaming only. I want to see about getting some DVDs added to it because my girlfriend's mom LOVES to watch movies. I figured if my gf and I split the cost of it it'd be about $10 a person and then we'd all be happy. I could watch at home on my laptop and then we could watch at her house on her Wii or get the DVDs. I think it'd be a great deal and it would be better than the horrible quality bootlegs her mom gets.

There's a redbox really close to me, so I just go and get movies from there. Even if I keep them out for two days, that's only two dollars for a movie. I only watch 3-4 movies a month, so I spend as little as three dollars up to 8 dollars, making it cheaper than a monthly subscription.

We had cable, but it was expensive (over $100 monthly) and we realized we hardly ever watched television. I actually stopped watching tv all together back in November of 2007. Just started watching it again this year (I think around April or May). I only have 3 shows I like: Wipeout, Bob's Burgers, and Louie. Since those 3 are streaming from Netflix and Hulu we cancelled our cable.
Netflix and Hulu run us less than $10 each. We are saving $80 a month and get to watch movies too. Much better than cable for me.
I also just signed up with Blockbuster's service. I like that you can rent movies and video games from them.

Boyfriend subscribes to Netflix streaming, but only I and his best friend use it. I'm marathoning Battlestar Galactica now
Apart from that, I love the free section of Hulu, tons of anime.

Netflix is in our house for the streaming. Thinking of going for Blockbuster though because you can exchange DVDs in-store...

We have Netflix. It makes me mad because you never get the "new" movies. I usually can't wait 2 months to see a movie that I really wanted to see so I end up renting it from redbox anyway. So for us, it's kind of a waste of money.

my fam has netflix, & we love it.

We have netflix and we love it. We are currently at one disk at a time, but we are about to go back up to two. We both love streaming, especially when I am on the road.

We do the Netflix (streaming only on Wii) because we don't have cable at my house.

Don't care for Netflix. Hulu is great though.

I use Netflix streaming only. It's awesome! We get lots of date nights in that way.

Nope, use Hulu....

Netflix. I use it daily. I love that it isn't just movies and has tons of television series.

I have Netflix and love it. I think their method for communicating company changes lately has been quite pathetic lately, but I'm not one of those people who will boo-hoo paying $16/month for unlimited streaming and DVDs. I don't pay for cable of any kind, so I think it's a great deal. I stream Netflix via my Xbox 360.
I also have the cables to plug my Macbook up to my TV, and sometimes my friends and I will watch Vimeo shorts or their movies/web series that way.

We have Netflix, though it's not nearly as good as the netflix in the states...

We have such a backlog of shows on DVR that we don't have time to watch movies. When we do want to watch a movie, we usually just get one onDemand.

Like some other folks have already mentioned, I think that Netflix is a much better deal than cable, which we choose not to subscribe to either. I don't care if the shows are new or not, so Netflix suits me fine. And we don't have to put up with commercials.
