Tampons or Pads?

can I add to the chorus singing DIVA CUP? I love it, it has truly changed the way I feel about that time of the month (ie, it's no longer a hassle). I can not recommend it enough. Check out Divacup.com if you haven't heard of it! (no I don't work for them!)

MoonCup UK (it's like a DivaCup) and cloth washable pads due a reaction to the chemicals in regular ones.

I hate the idea of sitting in my own blood, so pads gross me out. I typically go for tampons. But a few of my friends have been talking about the diva cup and how much they love it so I'm thinking of checking into it.

I use both. Pad and tampon during the day for the first three days, pads only at night, and pads only for the last four days. The first three days are the heaviest and tampons -always- leak, pads usually leak, so when I combine them, I prevent leaks.

I've heard of the Diva Cup, but first, I don't fully understand how it works and I am not sure it wouldn't leak (again, tampons always leak on me, and the idea of it reeeeeally grosses me out.

I am a HUGE fan of re-usable menstrual cups. They're cheaper in the long run than either, and much more comfortable (at least to me since they don't have a dangly-string or a tendency to bunch).

I can't stand tampons. My new best friend has been the Always Infinity Pads. They are thin, but super absorbent. I only use tampons when I have a dance show or something and a pad isn't practical. My roommate has tried to encourage me to use the diva cup, but I don't want to.

Diva Cup! I just hated having to change tampons all the time and the plasticy feeling of pads.

tampons during the day, pads at night. tampons are just way cleaner. I used to wear tamps at night but one time I woke up the next morning and forgot I had a tampon in and tried to put another one in lol . needless to say the pain made me realize what I had done. So, now I just used pads at night since it's easier to remember in the morning.
