I've always wished that I had the tongue technique to tie knots in cherry stems. Is it a common skill that I'm simply lacking, or is it as tricky as it seems to be?

Yes I can. I've even been able to tie two knots in one cherry stem. I gue4ss 8 years of college were good for learning something useful!!!

Yes I can. I bend it into a loop, bite on one end of the stem, and push the other end of the stem through the loop. It's really not that hard once you figure it out.
