Traveling with Sex Toys?

Contributor: klyte klyte
Have you ever carried a dildo in your carry on baggage? I don't want to pay 25 extra dollars just to bring a suitcase I don't need, but just wondering if I'll be highly embarassed at security if I put them in a clear ziploc back and label clearly what they are.

Anyone experienced in traveling with your sex toys?

Yes, just got back from Mexico. Put two vibes in my carry on. I called the travel security inquiries line and plainly asked them if it was alright and was told that they get that question a lot and it is perfectly fine and recommended if the toys are expensive (or hold any personal value to you). I had no problems with mine. They didn't even check my bags and even if they did, I bet they've seen it all before. You do not even have to label them; unless you want to.

We fly Southwest whenever possible - no baggage fees. We check 99% of our toys - but some smaller items like Mimi & Form 2 can easily be transported in carry-ons without fear of embarrassment.

I don't do much traveling by any public means (the only public transportation I've used is a bus and a train, and rarely) so I tend to just toss what I need in my bag and go on my way.

Sorry, I don't travel by those means. I do carry mine in my purse at times though.

Just put them in your carryon. Take the batteries out (for toys w/batteries). I see no need to put them in a bag, much less a labelled bag.

I'm glad to see this question asked. I'm taking a trip in just a week and really want to bring a few toys with me...

honestly, I don't see any reason why it would be a problem. I also don't see any reason to put them in a labeled baggy.

I think that's what I'm going to do. Why pay 25 dollars twice for two dildos? I guess because mine are larger (Johnny Vicskin and Silky) I feel a little more embarassed about it.
