Triple decker cheeseburger, with bacon, on a Krispy Kreme doughnut "bun". What is the MOST insane food YOU have ever heard of?

Just saw this 9000 calorie "treat" on TV. More then a weeks worth of calories AND fat, on one single plate.

So...what is the most nuts food YOU ever heard about????

Have you ever heard of the Heart Attack Grill?

They had a "quadruple bypass burger," which is essentially a quadruple cheeseburger with x4 onions, tomatoes, and two types of cheese. They also have "flatliner fries" and refer to the joint as a "clinic."

And in case you're wondering, the waitresses are dressed like nurses.

Oh, and KFC has a "sandwich" that consists of bacon and cheese sandwich between two pieces of fried chicken.

There is a shop in Texas that serves a doughnut the size of a tire. We have a pizza shop locally outside of Atlanta that advertizes a slice of pizza bigger than a baby. It's true. And amazing. I really really want to do a steak challenge sometime, just to have a steak that big. I'd get the meat sweats 20 oz's in, but would be so happy as I was passing out.

Mulligan's in Atlanta (sadly, now closed) used to serve that burger. It's called the Luther burger because it was Vandross's favorite "snack". They also had something on their menu called the hamdog.

It's a hamburger pattie wrapped around a hot dog, deep fried, covered in cheese, chili, french fries and a fried egg. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life, but I know someone who ate the entire thing.

Honestly? For me, it was a home-made macaroni and cheese, made off a recipe I found online. Five kinds of cheese, in a half-milk, half-heavy cream base, with tons of ham... I doubled the amount of pasta and still felt like I was drowning in cheese.

It was amazing, but with every bite my partner and I were rhapsodizing about how it was the most disgusting thing we'd ever eaten. So much butter. So much cheese. So much cream. I'm having heart palpitations just THINKING about it.

ETA: Oh, heard of, not eaten! Hmm. There's a guy on the food channel who just goes around doing huge challenges.

I've got relatives in the south who do the whole "tur-duck-en" ; thing... stuffing a duck inside a chicken inside a turkey, and deep-frying the whole thing in peanut oil for Thanksgiving.

As far as realish foods, my sister's favorite sandwich used to be two slices of store-bought white bread (not even toasted), slathered with miracle whip, and sprinkled with pepper.

Ewwwwwwww.

Stick a slice of tomato on that bread and that was a growing up staple in our house.

Weirdest thing I've eaten: Toss up between ostrich roast and bear. I preferred the ostrich. Bear was a bit gamey, and I don't like eating predators.

Having family from Louisiana, the turducken is usually used for a whimsical holiday meal. It's actually pretty good.

This is what came to mind! Ugh, too much bacon. (and meat in general)

The guy Kkay is referring to is Adam Richman on Man vs Food. I love him: he has such a great personality and I think he's hot! Some of the dishes they've served him been beyond absurd, but then to see him actually finish them? Now THAT's insane!

A local grill here in SC serves a doughnut burger. I took my brother there Sunday in hopes that he'd order it (we'd seen it at a festival and he said he was curious to try it), but he let me down and got something else!

I keep waiting for the announcement that Adam Richman has been rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest or that his gall bladder exploded or something else related to the amount of food he eats in those shows. We saw him do the Manimal challenge...5 beef patties, fries, two grilled hot dogs with heaps of coleslaw and a milkshake you had to chew. He finished it all with five minutes to spare.
