I dont take pills unless I am dying. I try to stay away from stuff like that.

Unless it's really bad, I tend to wait it out. my headaches tend to fade quickly, so by the time the meds would be working, I'm usually better

Regular headaches I usually wait them out but I also get serious ocular migraines. I'll be fairly blind and quickly if I don't take something right away. I have found that orgasms help me get rid of them too.

I get really bad migraines, but most are triggered by something. I get migraines when my blood sugar drops or spikes, when I change temperatures real quickly, or if I miss my medicine. If one of those things happens I try to take over the counter medicine right away so that I don't have to use my expensive RX migraine stuff.

Considering when I actually get headaches, they wind up evolving into migraines and not going away...I usually take a few aspirin.
If it doesn't go away then about eight hours later I'll take an ibuprofen.

depends.. sometimes when i'm too lazy to get ibuprofen, i wait a little bit.. & other times I take it right away.

If it starts out mild I have to take something fast because it won't go away on its own if I try to wait it out I end up with a migraine that I have to take prescription pain meds to get it to go away

It just depends, I try to do anything to avoid taking my expensive prescription for migraines.

I usually take something once I notice it. Otherwise it can get bad and quickly...usually if they get bad nausea and vomiting can follow. Once it gets to that point I can't do much including driving so it sucks if I'm out and about. It's usually a rush to get back home.
