Tap water here, but we have awesome tap water here. When we visit other places, my family usually gets bottled water. If I ever get a permanent residence somewhere that doesn't have very good tap water, I think I'll get a filter.

I'm very, very picky about the taste of my water, and very, very environmentally friendly. Our water here has odd tastes, so, I use a filter system, instead of using bottled water, which is just wasteful.
That is not to say that I never drink bottled water--I will when I'm not around water that's filtered, i.e. travelling.

I use bottled when I leave the house, and I keep a bottle by my bed at night. At home normally I drink tap water that has run through my Brita filter. Tastes great! Sometimes during the Summer though our water gets really funky and there's just no filtering it (it remains nasty tasting), so then I switch to bottled all the time. Such a pain!

Technically neither. I use a Brita filter, so I'm not exactly drinking right from the tap. For work or if I'm out of the house for awhile I have a reusable bottle that I take my water in.

I have a Brita filter, but I drink tap water too if I am too lazy to go downstairs to the fridge. I carry a bottle with me when I go to class and to work and I just fill that with tap water too.

I really like bottled water, but I feel guilty about drinking it. Mostly, I drink water from the fridge because it's filtered well. When I can afford a pitcher filter, I pour fridge-filtered water through to double filter it.

Cans of carbonated flavor water here. Plain water just doesn't excite me and the cans are cheaper than bottles.

I drink bottled water when I have some, but tap water doesn't bother me where I live now. Where I used to live had terrible water so I had a thing against tap, but it's fine now. Bottles are just easier to grab when they're there.

i like filtered water. I have a nice filter on my kitchen sink, and we have 5 gal bottles at work. We buy bottled water, so I will have a water bottle to use at work, one that I dont have to worry about losing.

I have always said that God put me in this city because of the good water! Tap water! If out of town, always bottled.

We only drink bottled water. We live in an unincorporated area and don't get treated water. Water comes into our house, right from the ground, from a private well, which is in our front yard. Many years ago, the entire neighborhood ended up with an E Coli infection, as someone capped a well without doing it properly. Bacteria got into the water table and everybody got sick. A few of the kids and one baby (whose idiot parents were drinking bottled water themselves but making the baby's powdered formula with the well water) ended up in the hospital twice, due to his parents not feeding him after he was brought home the first time, thinking he could live on Pedialyte.
Anyway, our water is unpotable. So we have to drink bottled water.

Our fridge has a little spout that gives us filtered water, and that's what I normally drink. There's a weird metallic taste that I seem to be the only one who notices about our tap water. Not a big deal but enough to bother me, so I drink the filtered water from the fridge. I do bottled water on occasion, but mostly when I'm out and about. I hate the idea of using a plastic bottle once and then throwing it out (even if it's being recycled), so I try to use my reusable bottles, but if I have a plastic bottle I'll drink out of that a whole bunch of times.

At home I drink filtered water from the dispenser on the fridge. If I'm away from the house for more than 2 hours, I take bottled water with me.

I use the tap water on the refrigerator. I just feel that it's so ridiculous to spend all that money on bottled water when kids in africa don't even have clean water. I can understand if you are in a place with unclean water, but I live in San Antonio and our water is fine. Except for maybe this one week where there was some algae in the water system, but that's it. The only time I use bottle water is when visiting up north. The well water is nasty and I've gotten sick from drinking it several times.

I have a special filter installed by a plumber on the kitchen sink. I can taste the difference for sure. The only time I prefer bottled water is when I'm in the mood for sparkling water.
